Phone Subscription – the New GTS Energis Service

The launch of the Phone Subscription (WLR) service by GTS Energis will offer lower telecommunication service costs to business clients.

Pursuant to the decision of the Chairman of the Office of Electronic Communications of 21 November 2006 on the wholesale access to the telecommunication network GTS Energis has prepared the Phone Subscription offer. The offer is targeted at business clients subscribing Telekomunikacja Polska S.A. services and expecting a lower price or intending to change the operator. GTS Energis has announced the launch of sale of the first Phone Subscription services for analogue lines to start on 1 March 2007.

GTS Energis is the first operator to launch the WLR service on ISDN BRA line. GTS Energis will start relaying first ISDN BRA orders to TP S.A. in the second half of February 2007 after all the details of providing the service are agreed by the negotiator teams of GTS Energis and TP S.A. Orders relayed to TP SA in February will be executed at the beginning of April 2007.

How much does the phone subscription cost at GTS Energis?

GTS Energis has prepared an offer for the analogue lines and digital ISDN BRA lines. Subscription fees differ depending on the agreement duration: 12 months, 24 months or for indefinite period. Cost of phone subscription for the analogue lines varies from PLN 32 to PLN 38 net. Subscription fees for the ISDN BRA connection is PLN 45 and 51 net respectively.

GTS Energis also remembers about subscribers using TP S.A. subscription plans: standard and Octopus S or Octopus K. As a part of the Phone Subscription service the subscribers will be able to use 40 toll free minutes for every new phone line after signing a 1-year agreement with GTS Energis.
With the launch of the Phone Subscription service GTS Energis is also introducing packages of toll-free minutes - 300, 1000, 3000 and 6000 at the following prices: PLN 22.95, PLN 75.50, PLN 240.40 and PLN 444.00.

"On the land line telephony market it is the high prices of service that are the greatest obstacle limiting widespread and unlimited access to telecommunication services. We hope that our offer will stimulate changes in this area," – said Ireneusz Klimczak, Product Director at GTS Energis.

What are the gains for a WLR subscriber?

Firstly, even 41% lower subscription fee. Change of subscription provide does not require a change of the current phone number. After signing an agreement with GTS Energis the customer will contact the Subscriber Service Office of GTS Energis concerning any issues related to their phone line. SSO will accept calls for service changes, connection transfer, malfunction reports or complaints. Subscribers will receive one phone bill with specified subscription fee and phone billing.
Customers in 15 urban areas, where local connections can be made using the 1066 prefix, will be able to use the GTS Energis offer.
